I have finally finished our daughter's birth announcement! Of course, at 4 months of age now, she changes daily. One of the "problems" with doing work for yourself, is you may never be happy with it. It's never "finished." I have already come up with little alterations that certain batches might have... My favorite detail to this invitation is the lace paper I bought on an anniversary trip with my husband to Paris. I had hoped I'd be using it for our baby girl one day, and I'm elated to bring it into this design as an extra ribbon around the whole card... The rest of the materials are from my favorite Papersource. I wish Molly could help with these!

Where were these when I was getting married?

I'm getting this question alot lately. A friend of mine suggested I carry cards for brides to give their wedding party, as these are hard to find in stores. My "Will you be my Maid of Honor?" and "Will you be my Bridesmaid?" cards were born! They have really taken off and ladies LOVE customizing the cards in their wedding colors! They also enjoy how funny and unique the cards are... I started making these April of this year and my maid of honor cards and bridesmaid cards are my best sellers - I've sold close to 200 now!

So, don't let these pass you by, or let your friends utter these words next year - contact me at http://www.greencard.etsy.com/ for your custom wedding party cards! They are so much fun to do and have kept me quite busy {that's OK, the weather in Chicago hasn't been that great, anyway! So many brides want to "officially" ask their favorite gals to be their Maid of Honor, Bridesmaid, or Matron of Honor in a fun and memorable way! These Maid of Honor cards and Bridesmaid cards are funny, unique, and can be customized for you!

Cheers,

Guess who was featured in an Etsy gift guide?

OMG - it was me!!! I thought it was great when I sold this valentine 4 times in 2 days and then noticed I get a lot of LOVE today (lots of hearts for my shop and certain items)... Then, someone found me in a gift guide! The folks at etsy thought my card was "My Funny Valentine" quality!

It's a new year and I'm excited for all the events coming up and products I'm working on...

Please come visit me at the Empty Bottle bar in Chicago (on 1035 N. Western Ave.) on January 10th and February 14th from noon to 4:30... Yes, Tim doesn't mind I'm working on Valentine's Day - are you kidding me?!?! The art and craft event at this rad bar is hosted by Handmade Market and features really cool local artists. Please check out this website at: http://www.handmadechicago.com/

ALSO, along with the holiday promo I'm running (still trying to rid my tiny condo of Christmas and HOliday greetings), I'm offering free domestic S/H on any thank-you card sets. This is in conjunction with the Etsy Greetings Team I'm on. Please visit this team's website at: http://www.handmadechicago.com/

AND!!! Amy from Neatostuff (http://www.neatostuff.com/) has asked to feature some new cards of mine this week! I'm truly honored to be featured in this great online magazine that advertises "neat" stuff for men, women, and baby.

Here are the cards to look for on Neatostuf (don't they make you want to throw a dinner party)?

Holiday "Overstock"

Some might call it "overstock" - I call it "overshooting" how much I could sell at a 4 hour craft fair...

I made too many cute holiday cards! They need to be cleared out so I can start working on Valentine's Day and St. Paddy's Day cards and invites...

So, Greencard Designs is having a 50% off holiday sale on all holiday cards.

Please, check out your favorites at http://www.greencard.etsy.com/

I'm busy filling custom orders, but these cards are made and ready to mail out.

Cheers and Happy Holidays to you!
